Issa Rae of Awkward Black Girl fame released the first episode of her new webseries The Legend of Human Black Guy Wednesday. Rae spoke to the Daily Dot about her inspiration for the series in December. The new series features Rae’s real-life brother enimaL, as the titular human whose color often gets in the way of everyday tasks, like having a job.
